MRS. CASSANDRA ELAINE MORRISON WILDER-LOGAN, 52, of INDIAN TRAIL, NC, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017, at Novant Health / Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Sevices will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 1504 Providence Rd., S. Waxhaw, NC.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Cassandra was born on Tuesday, November 23, 1965, in Union County, Monroe, NC and was called home to be with the Lord, one day after her earthly birthday on Friday, November 24, 2017.  She was the 12th child from the union of the late Henderson, Sr., and Janie Lee Morrison and grew up in Mineral Springs, NC.

Sandy was a graduate of Parkwood High School, class of 1984, and later received her CNA and EMT Certifications at South Piemont Community College in Monroe, NC and her Culinary Certification from CPCC-Charlotte, NC.

Sandy, as she was fondly known by  all, was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Wilder and to this union, one son, Brian LaTroy Wilder was born.  She later married Michael Logan of March 16, 1996, and this union was blessed with a daughter, Hannah Logan.

Cassandra worked tirelessly in the community, visiting the elderly and widowed as well as those who just needed a smiling face.  She could often be found collecting donations so that others could have.  Her unquestionable love for Christ shone through as she worked as a missionary, meeting the spiritual and physical needs of others.  At an early age, Cassandra gave her life to Christ and joined the membership of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member.  She later joined Victory Christian Center as a submissive wife for some time, but returned to Mt. Pisgah later.  She worked as a personal greeter to be sure every guest who came onto the church yard felt welcomed.

She is best known for her love of cooking and of Christ.  Sandy would bring batches of cookies to church just to see everyone scramble for the last crumb.

Cassandra's mourning family includes her husband, Michael Logan of the home; her son, Brian "Troy" Wilder of Charlotte, NC and her daughter, Hannah Logan of the home; two god-children, Brendon and Andrew Gullette; seven brothers and five sisters, Reverend Robert Morrison, Sr.,(Charlene) of Waxhaw, NC, Allen Morrison (Helen), Henderson Morrison, Jr.(Ruthie) and Brenda Reid (Robert), all of Monroe, NC, Carolyn Gatewood (Reverend Daniel) of Morven, NC, Michael Morrison of Monroe, NC, Linda Fisher (Reverend Charlie) of Waxhaw, NC, Bobby Morrison (Lila) of Monroe, NC, Gloria Wilson of Waxhaw, NC. I do not know where to begin. It hurts so bad. Cousin Sandy, you will truly be missed. I was hoping to see you at our upcoming 2018 Honeycutt/Belk family Reunion. I am so lost for words. I know heaven has gained a beautiful angel, but I lost my beautiful cousin. I know GOD does not make mistakes. So cousin Sandy, I love you, and I will see you again one day on the other side. Love you forever.

To the entire family of Mrs. Logan: Please accept my sincere sympathy. I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. I know it breaks your hearts when someone you love so much is separated from you because of death. Please be assured that the Bible says that God see's our pain and sadness and He promised at Revelation 21:4 and Isaiah 25:8 that He will soon eliminate the enemy that threatens the human family. He also comforts us at John 5:28,29. May you have comfort at this difficult time.
