MISS PEARLIE ANN " Kat" MARTIN, 33 of MOUNT GILEAD, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System Main, in Charlotte, NC.
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm, at McAuley Memorial AME Zion Church, 2829 NC Hwy. 109 South, Mount Gilead, NC 27306. A visitation will be held 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
Interment to follow in the Bruton Cemetery, Wadeville Community, Mount Gilead NC. .

Death is one of the most difficult things we can ever face, but praying to Jehovah God, "the God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3) can help ease some of the pain. Like you, I long for the time when death and heartache will be done away with (Rev 21:3, 4). In the meantime, keep praying to help you during this time because He hears you and we'll be praying for you too.

When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes sadness and grief. Our loving heavenly father feels the deep emotional pain we have. That is why his word the Bible comforts us with scriptures found at Psalm 34:18 which says; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. And the wonderful promise for the future at Isaiah 25:8; He (God) will swallow up death forever. And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces. Because God “cares for you “(1Peter 5:7) he will help you to cope at this difficult time.

Extremely saddened to see this as I knew Kat from childhood being good friends with her brothers. I would like to send my heart felt sympathy & condolences to the entire Martin family, especially James, Jerry & Jermaine. May God ease your pain & be a source of strength during your time of loss & sorrow.
