Gone too soon!!!! What could not be said about Scott. He would come into work every morning with a big smile on his face. Always full of laughs and keeping us going here at the Carolina Inn... My prayers are for the family and that God will give you a strength that surpasses all understanding.. I know I can speak on behalf of the coworkers on the Night Audit shift at Carolina Inn, that we are going to truly miss Scott's presence, that big smile and humble character that we saw every morning when he arrived to work, but we also know he is present with God. Thank you family for sharing your jewel with us. He was truly that, a precious jewel. We send all our love, hugs and prayers...

To my big brother Eddie and sister, (Joyce); my prayers have been continual as soon as you called. It seems like a bad dream. My nephew has been taken away. Words can't articulate how much his oh so pleasant face will be missed. I will remember his last visit seeing his VA family (aunts, uncles and granddaddy and grandma Hammond). We will always cherish the fun times. We look forward to loving on you all tomorrow. Until then, may the loving arms of Jesus surround you in your time of loss. We love you!

Although I did not know Scott personally, I am saddened to hear about his passing. My daughter is friends with Natalya, and Natalya often talked about how much she loved her Dad and how easy he was to talk to. Your legacy will be carried on through your two beautiful girls. I will continue to keep Natasha and the entire Hammond family in prayers in the day to come. We may not understand why, but we know that God makes no mistakes.
