MRS. MARJORIE REE REDFEARN TYSON, 66 of MONROE, NC formerly of MARSHVILLE, NC died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 2:30pm Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Flintridge Baptist Church, 5720 Flintridge Church Rd., Marshville, NC 28103, with her body to lie in repose 1pm to 2:30pm prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC in charge.

Born in Union County, NC, Wednesday, October 1, 1947 a daughter of Lettie Crowder Redfearn and the late Percell Welton Redfearn also preceding her in death was one sister; Delaine Redfearn Tyson. She was a member of Flinridge Baptist Church of Marshville, NC  and former employee of Wingate University, Wingate, NC.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her four sons; Leon Redfearn, Freddie Redfearn and Lee Tyson (Marissa) all of Marshville, NC and Dion Tyson of Monroe, NC; her mother; Lettie Crowder Redfearn of Marshville, NC; three sisters;  Debbie Rushing (Earnest) of Peachland, NC; Rebecca Hough (John) of Wingate, NC and Ruth Ellis (Linwood) of Marshville, NC; three brothers; Cleveland Redfearn of Wingate, NC, William Redfearn and Donald Redfearn both of Marshville, NC; Three Grandchildren and One great-grandchild, a host of neices, nephews other relatives and dear friends.
