MR. TYLER JOSEPH TOTTEN, 30 of MONROE, NC, passed away, Sunday, August 1, 2021.

Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 601 Winchester Avenue, Monroe, NC

Due to Covid 19, it is asked that everyone attending the service have a mask or facial covering when entering and exiting the chapel.  Also use the Hand Sanitizer upon entering and exiting the chapel for the safety of our families and the staff.

Tyler Joseph Totten , was born on Wednesday, February 20, 1991, in Alamance County, Burlington, NC to Joseph and Desiree Felton Totten.  He departed this earthly life on Sunday, August 1, 2021 . Tyler completed his education in the Alamance/Guilford County School Systems. Tyler was a kind spirit and truly loved and truly believed in love and family. Tyler had a passion for food and cooking.  He loved the Japanese culture and had dreamed of going to Japan.

He loved nature and enjoyed trips to the mountains and he loved his collection of rocks and crystals.  He enjoyed talking about thr " old days" and hearing about his family history,  His love for Dragon Ball Z was priceless.

Tyler was a beautiful soul inside and out.  This is his legacy.  Tyler's bright eyes, infectious laugh and contagious smile will be greatly missed.

Tyler leaves to mourn his passing, his father, Joseph F. Tottten (Terri)  of Whitsett, NC and his mother, Desiree Felton Totten (Robert) of Monroe, NC; his brother, Darnell Russell of East Orange, NJ; step-brothers, Terrance Lewis if Whitsett, NC and Trevon Lewis of Jeanerette, Louisiana; step-sister, Sha'Tara Stephens of Prosperity, SC.

Tyler shared a lifelong friendship with three special friends; Jashun Reed (Chloe) of Walnut Cove, NC, Justin Saunders of Greensboro, NC and Queezy Oakley of Mebane, NC, as well as a host of aunts,  uncles, nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved dearlly.
