Rosa Mae (Legrand) Thomas

MRS ROSA MAE LEGRAND THOMAS , 94, ​MOUNT GILEAD, NC, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018, at the Sandy Ridge Assisted Living Facility, Candor, NC.

Rosa was the daughter of the late Peter and Evelyn Legrand born in Richmond County, NC, on January 4, 1924.  She was married to the late Jesse Thomas.  She was a domestic worker.

Survivors include nieces, Shirley Martin of Mount Gilead, NC, Minnie Ruth Young of Boston, MA., and Mary Douglas of High Point, NC,; special  niece, Mary Jane Jones of Mount Gilead, NC.
