Percival Mark (Buck) Evans

MR. PERCIVAL MARK "Buck" EVANS, 72, OF MONROE, NC , passed away Friday, March 25, 2016,  at CHS-Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC.  A memorial service will be planned in his honor at a later date.

"Buck",  as he was known by many,  was born in Union County, NC, on Friday, April 9, 1943. He was a son of the late Percival and  Petrovia Carter Evans.  He was a retired Nurse from CHS-Union, then Union Memorial Hospital in Monroe, NC,  and a retired Barber of the family owned Evans Barber Shop of Monroe, NC.

He is survived by a son,  Mario Evans of Charlotte, NC, and a daughter,  Evonne Evans-Joseph of Monroe, NC;  two brothers,  David Evans (Libby) and Walter Evans (Edna),  both of Charlotte, NC; one sister,  Carolyn Henderson; two grandchildren,  Ilema Joseph and Amir Joseph,  both of Monroe, NC;  In-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
