Milfred Filmore Greene

MR. MILFRED FILMORE GREENE, 97 of CANDOR, NC (Dry Creek Community) passed away peacefully Friday, December 26, 2025 at his home.

 Mr. Greene was a long time educator in the Montgomery County, North Carolina  Public School System.

 Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the Leah Richter Levin Memorial Auditorium, 102 S. School St., MT. Gilead, NC with a visitation 11:30 am to 12:00 pm in the Auditorium prior to the service. 

 Military Honors and Interment will follow in the First United Church of Christ Church Cemetery in Candor, NC (Dry Creek Community). 

A public viewing will be held  2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday, January 2, 2026 at  Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC which is serving the Greene, Armstrong and extended families. In lieu of flowers the family request  Memorial Contributions be made to:  Friends In Focus, 10705 Sapona Court, Charlotte, NC 28277.
