MRS. MABLE LOUISE HUNTLEY KNIGHT, 62 of MONROE, NC passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Atrium Health / Union, Monroe, NC.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Hillcrest Cemetery, 1002 Adams St., Monroe, NC.
(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service and Public Viewing are required to wear a mask or facial covering. Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)
A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Mable Louise Huntley Knight, the daughter the late Thella C. December 20, 1958, in Unin County, Monroe, North Carolina.
At an early age , Mable joined Elizabeth Baptist Church, Monroe, NC, where she a faithful member. Mable was currently a member of Prosperous Revival Temple Holiness Church in Indian Trail.
Mable was employed with Union County Head Start for several years and a host of other childcare jobs throughout her career.
Preceding Mable in death was her husband, David Michael Knight; sister, Priscilla Buchanon; brothers, Otis Eugene Huntley, Charles Hamilton Brewer Huntley and Harvey Ray Huntley.
Mable leaves fond memories to; two sons, Albert Huntley and Rickey Antoin Huntley of the home; 8 grandchildren, (Albert) Regine Michaels, Tron Burns, Tremain Johnson, Makayla Huntley Shaniya Huntley, Keron Brown Fallon Huntley (Antoin) Avery Miranda Huntley; 3 sisters, Deloris Pizarro of Rochester NY, Nancy Huntley and Gail Huntley Martinez (Felipe); 3 brothers, Harold Humphrey, Thella C. Humphrey, Jr., and David Lee Huntley (Carla) all of Monroe; one aunt, Selma Lee Huntley of Monroe, NC and a a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and God children; Special great-nieces, Jadarrien Buchanon, Keisha Buchanon and Sherrie White Thomas.
Mable was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to all.
