MR. JOHNNY LEE GREENE, 84, of Mt. Gilead, NC, beloved husband of Ermateen Greene and Community Activist, passed away peacefully Friday evening, September 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at First Health Hospice of West End, NC.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Snow Hill A.M.E. Zion Church, 204 Snow Hill Church Road, Mt. Giilead, NC. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations of Mt. Gilead, NC
