MR. JAMES EDMOND DAVIS "Jimmy" "Jed" HAYES, 76 of MONROE, NC formerly of Washington, DC. passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his home in Monroe, NC.
Mr. Hayes was a Retired Washington, DC Police Officer and a US Army Veteran.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the New Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, 4417 Douglas St., NE, Washington, DC 20019. Visitation will be held 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the church prior to the service.
Full Military Honors and Interment will be held 12:00 pm Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd., Triangle, VA 22172.
Visitation will be held 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC which is serving the Hayes, Davis and extended families.
