MR. HUBERT STANTON MILLER, 77 of ASHEBORO, NC, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Asheboro, NC. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Friday, February 21, 2014 at Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church, 1017 Brewer St., Asheboro, NC 27203, Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Falls Rd., Asheboro, NC 27203. Visitation will be held 12 noon to 1pm at the Church prior to the Service.
Born Sunday, January 31, 1937 in Rowan County, NC a son of the late Josephus Miller, Sr. , and Louise Elizabeth Palmer Miller.
Survivors include his wife Clara Gaines Miller, of Asheboro, NC; son; Hubert Leo "Tator" Miller (Regina) of High Point, NC, and one sister; Ruby M. Pridgen of New Jersey, and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC is in charge.
