George Adam Greene

MR. GEORGE ADAM GREENE, 74 of IRVINGTON, NJ,  formerly of MOUNT GILEAD, NC (Wadeville Community), passed away Monday, December 19, 2016,  at his home in Irvington, NJ.

Graveside Service and Mililtary Honors will be held 9:00am Monday, January 2, 2017 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 202 Government Road, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC.

George was born in Montgomery County, NC, on Tuesday, September 22, 1942.  He was married to Ms. Sarah Greene.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.  George was employed in the chemical factory.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sarah; his children, George and Shantae; four grandchildren; his siblings, Eunice, Mary, Cynthia, LeRoy, Alvin, Aletha, Genice, Pete, Josephine, Ruth and the late Nettie; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
