MRS. DOROTHY LEE PEMBERTON CARPENTER, 78, and beloved wife of Mr. Ronnie Carpenter, of the Wadeville Community of Mt. Gilead, NC, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., at the Leah Richter Levin Auditorium, 102 S. School Street, Mt. Gilead, NC.  Public veiewing will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026  from 1p.m.-5p.m.   Mrs. Carpenter will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral.  Family Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour 2:00 p.m.

Committal and Interment will be held on Thursday, Septembern 10, 2026 at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Boulevard, Salisbury, 28144. Will be leaving the funeral home at 12:00 noon sharp.
