Calvin Little, Jr.

MR. CALVIN LITTLE, JR., 71 of MT. Gilead, NC passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Atrium Health / Stanly in Albemarle, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the Chestnut A.M.E.Zion Church, 7093 Grassy Island Road, MT. Gilead, NC.  Mr. Little's remains will lie in repose 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

(Due to the COVID 19 pandemic everyone attending the Service and Public Viewing are required to wear a mask or facial covering.  Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2022 at  Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC.

Mr. Calvin Little, Jr, a son of the late Calvin Sr, and Ethelyn  Colson Little, was born on Monday, June 5, 1950 in Richmond County, NC..  He transitionedfrom this earthly life on Wednesday morning , March 9, 2022 in the Atrium Health/Stanly Hospital in Albemarle, NC.

"June or Lil Cap," as he was fondly called, attended the public schools of Richmond County.  He received his GED after a short stint in the U. S. Army.  He attended Chestnut A.M.E. Zion Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Emmanuel Little; nephews, Matt Ingram and Jerome Morman;; great-grandsons, Dominic and Dominique Watkins and a niece, Starie Graham..

June leaves to cherish loving memories to his only daughter, Pamela Little; his sons, Carlos Lee, Anthony Bowden and Shawn Little; his sisters, Rosa Mae Little, Gloria Chappell (Tony), Sally Little, Stacey Baldwin, Patricia L. Watkins (Jeffrey) and Deborah Little; his brothers, Lewis Little (Phyllis), James T. Little (Dorothy) and Donald E. Little, Sr.(Catherine); grandchildren, Tiarria McAuley, Taska Littrle, Teonta Graham, Sara Dennis, Marian Bowden, Nehemiah Jordan and Alex'jah Lee; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Tyson, Kiyan Clark and Maliyah Medley; one uncle, J.M. Little; caregivers, Linda Gould (Daisy & Edwards), Skylar Quick and Starie "Tabrea" Quick, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
