Addie Mae (Moore) Robinson

MRS. ADDIE MAE MOORE ROBINSON, 99 of MINERAL SPRINGS, NC passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Novant Health / Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral  Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 520 Billy Howey Road, Wesley Chapel, NC.  Mrs. Robinson's remains will lie in repose 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Avenue in Monroe, NC.

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service and the Public Viewing are required to wear a mask or facial covering.  Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

Addie  Mae Robinson, the daughter of the late James and Mamie Barrett Moore, was born on November 27, 1922, in Union County, NC.  At tje age of 99, she made her heavenly transition at the Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC on February 15, 2022.

She was a faithful member of Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Waxhaw, NC.  There she served on the Usher Board and sang in the choir.  One of her favorite songs to sing was "I'm going to serve God until I die"' .  Addie truly did this everyday....She was a mighty woman of God who loved the Lord.

Addie worked at Conbraco Industries in Matthews, NC, for several years where she later retired.  In her free time, she worked at Guardian Care Nursing Facility in Monroe, NC.  She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves her surviving was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Ruby Foster, Bleeker McCleeve and Frances Sharpe and 6 brothers, Oscar Moore, Haywood Moore. Luther Moore, Monroe Moore, Eddie Moore nd Floyd Moore.  She has one surviving brother, Johnny Moore (Rose Moore) of Monroe, NC.  She married Johnny Robinson on May 30, 1976, who also preceded her in death.  Through this union, they welcomed 9 children,  TroynRobinson, William Robinson and George Robinson preceded her in death.

She leaves her surviving children,, Johnny Robinson, Betty Clawson, Julia Baker, Pandora Selby (Donald), Jacob Robinson, Melvin Robinson (Donna) and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday, February 25, 2022 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC. which is serving the Robinson, Moore & extended families.
