MR. HEATH JORDAN, 91 of MONROE, NC passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Atrium Health / Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Flag Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 2619 Old Pageland Monroe Road, Monroe, NC.  Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC.

Heath  was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1927, in Union County, to the late Rochel and Rachel Jordan.  He exchanged time for eternity on Thursday May 2, 2019.

Heath attended the Marshville High School. He was employed as a mechanic until he retired in 1985.  

He was a devoted member of Flag Branch Missionary Baptist Church, where he professed his love for Christ and enjoyed worship and fellowshipping with saints.  He served with the Missionaries.

Heath was preceded in death by his parents; his significant others, Lena Culler Jordan, Nancy Heath Jordan, and Vastie Alsobrooks; five siblings, Hubert Jordan, Sebern Jordan, Mary Ruth Carter, James W. Jordan and Mazell Miller and a daighter, Julia Ann Albrooks,  He will be sorely missed.

Heath leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to his four daughters; Linda Kay Belcomb (Hugh) of Queens, NY, Rhonda Matheison (Chris) of Atlanta, GA, Rachel Harding (Rawle) of Mint Hill, NC and Sherry Jordan of Gastonia, NC; son, Charles Heath Jordan (Gwendolyn) of Colorado Springs, Col.  one brother, Excell Jordan (Margaret) of Monroe, NC; two sisters, Betty Lou Robinson of High Point, NC and Violet Rachel Stinson(Robert) of Waxhaw, NC; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Jordan of Monroe, NC and Doretha Jordan of Pageland, SC; 11 grandchildren ans 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends,
