Born Monday, June 17, 1968 in Union County, NC, he was a son of the late Hubert and Mary Esterlean McCain Jordan.  He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, NC. "Buster" was a 1986 graduate of Monroe High School and attended Appalachian State University.  He was  very outgoing and never met a stranger, and was fun to be around and he had a great sense of humor with a contagious smile, and always full of laughter. "Buster" was one of a kind and loved by many near and far. He loved spending time with his friends,  but family was his first priority.  Everyone who knew him knew he loved "mater" sandwiches and the Pittsburg Steelers.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Wilbert Jordan.

"Buster" leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to five sisters; Shirley Rorie and Lenora Brewer both of Charlotte, NC, Mary Moser, Martha Allen and Sylvia Jordan all of Monroe, NC; four brothers, Willie Jackson, Harold Jordan, Rochel Jordan and Herbert Jordan (Diane) all of Monroe, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Never in my life have I had the pleasure of knowing anyone so genuine and so loved as you Buster. Although our friendship was limited in time, my memories of you are cherished and will last my lifetime. I am a better person for having shared laughter with you. Heaven truly has gained a righteous Saint & Angel when Our Blessed Father called you home Sunday. Although so many of us are devastated and greatly saddened, I will take comfort knowing that your soul is finally at peace being home with your beloved Mom once again. Till we meet again, I Love you Sweet Friend, NY ❤💋

Buster was a line crosser - he didn't care about race, social status, money, nothing that so many of us get wrapped up in. He made us laugh and picked on me continuously in the 35 years that I knew him. He will be missed by so many. I cannot believe that he's gone. RIP, my friend...
