Hattie was a beautiful soul whose warm words and smile could hearten those in need and bring light to any dark corner of the world. She loved family and friends and left a sunny impression on all that she met. Her light shines so brightly, that even though she is gone from this world, we can still see her light, a light that spreads hope to all that she knew.

I am sorry for the loss of your dear Hattie Mae. During times like this our God gives each one of us a very real hope of actually enjoying life with our passed loved ones once again right here on this good earth. At John 5:28 and 29 Jesus himself tells us that those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out to a resurrection of life, similar to how he resurrected his friend Lazarus. Lazarus was resurrected back to life on earth. That is in harmony with God's original purpose for humans, to "fill the earth and subdue it". (Genesis 1:28) God's original purpose for humans has not changed. To see our passed loved ones again on a beautified earth is a hope few dare to dream about, much less firmly believe in. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit jw dot org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN

Hattie was one of the most important people in my life. She gave me guidance through out my years from early adolescence through young adulthood. I know she is catching up with my mother (Martha Benton) in heaven and reminiscing about all of the years they shared raising my brothers and me. We loved her dearly.
