MR. HUBERT McDONALD, 73 of MONROE, NC died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe, NC. A Celebration of his life will be held 2pm Friday, November 28, 2014 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 5909 Wolfpond Rd., Monroe, NC 28112, Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. A public viewing will be held 1pm to 7pm Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.
Born Sunday, July 13, 1941 in Mecklenburg County, NC a son of the late Romas and Illa Chambers McDonald. He was a retired Dispatcher for Harris Teeter Warehouse.
Survivors include his wife Julias Crowder McDonald of the home; two sons; Reggie McDonald (Neatosha) of Matthews, NC and Kenneth Grady (Kim) of Monroe, NC; one brother; James McDonald of Marshville, NC and Five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Dr. J. McDonald,
I was sadden to hear for the death of Mr. Hubert. Please know that I will keep you and your family in my prayers as you go through this time of grief. Just rest assured that God will always be with you for he promised never to leave us.

I was so sad to read that Hubert had passed away. Julias is a dear friend I worked with for many years at the Union County Library. Hubert and Julias were made for one another, I know he will be greatly missed. May God continue to give you and Reggie comfort during this difficult time.
