I just heard of Tonnie's passing yesterday; I can't believe no one let me know. Tonnie was a great friend for many years. He was always quick to help me out in any way that he could. We spent many long hours talking about life and family, joys and regrets and hope for the future. I will miss that mischievous smile and sideways glance that told me I'd said enough when I chastised him in some way.
I will always remember Tonnie with fondness.
